The Knights of Columbus at Holy Cross Catholic Church is the local chapter of the world's largest Catholic fraternal service organization. It is a men's organization whose principal work involves helping others in need. They meet the second Thursday of every month. Here in Henry County and in Paris, TN they have helped students with scholarships and raise money for local services, such as Tomorrow's Hope.
The Knights of Columbus was founded in 1982 by an Irish-American Catholic priest, The Venerable Father Michael J. McGivney in New Haven, Connecticut.
